Brian O’Brien Solicitors commenced business in 1997. Based in the Capel Building in Smithfield, Briain operates from a modern office block beside the Four Courts and the Fruit Market in Dublin City Centre.

More About Brian O’Brien

Brian O’Brien set up his own firm in 1997 after many years in two firms prior to this.

Brian specialises in civil and commercial litigation with a particular expertise in debt recovery. Not only has he been a practising solicitor, but has has also lectured and been a litigation examiner in the Law Society of Ireland.  He was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1989, and also appointed a Notary Public by the Chief Justice in 2007.

Briain qualified as a Solicitor in 1985 and comes from a family deeply involved in the law going back three generations.  His mother was the first woman to be appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in England and Ireland, and so he follows a deep legal tradition.
